Bill Hoff, Host of Native Country News on Valentine Radio, was born in South Dakota and raised there and later in Fort Davis, Texas high in the Davis Mountains of Far West Texas. Mr. Hoff has lived and worked all across the United States including 300 miles above the Arctic Circle in Prudhoe Bay, Alaska.

After several years of traveling, the high Chihuahuan Desert called him home to live in Valentine, Texas. Bill Hoff is a gifted hereditary Medicine Keeper and is an elected Tribal Township Chief as well as having degrees as a Clinical Master Herbalist and a Holistic Health Practitioner.

Mr. Hoff, whose Native American name is Crazy Bear, is of Shawnee, Yuchi, and Tsalagiyi Nvdagi heritage from his maternal side and Wahpekute-Dakota as well as Metis Nation of Canada from his paternal side.

All of this lends a lifetime of first hand knowledge and Native Wisdom to his radio show Native Country News! Bill Hoff lives with his extended family and a gaggle of livestock on the wrong side of the tracks in Valentine, Texas - home of Valentine Radio!
